Trust Ella

 

Trust Ella is a bay 2018 AQHA appendix mare who stands 16 hands tall.  She has had 4 wins, 2 seconds and 6 thirds in her short racing career – making just over $22,000.  She was given the AQHRA 2023 Champion Alberta-bred Aged Mare award.  She retired sound and is ready to try a new career.

She is CBHI eligible and has more basics than most racehorses.  After 3 weeks of relaxation off the track, she willingly completed a small cowboy challenge course with no hesitation.  She has also helped with moving cattle.

​

Ella has received a further 6 weeks of training at SR Hestor Training near Fort McLeod, Alberta.  Currently, she is continuing her training near Carseland, Alberta, and getting a little more polish in various disciplines. 

​

She is a smart, powerful mare with speed and agility.  She is at the age and stage of development where she can be trained to pursue any discipline you wish, but she requires a confident, experienced rider. Trust Ella tries hard and yet relaxes and wants to be loved.  She enjoys people.

​

 Ella’s pedigree has a big upside to take her on to brood mare status when her performance career moves on.

​

 We believe she is ready to begin that career and will be an eager and successful participant.

​

 Dental, worming and feet are UTD. Pre-purchase exams welcome at the buyers’ expense.
